All those years of trying to be like everybody else was just an act. Putting on the act only attracts people who want the performance and that's an exhausting way to live. When you live the act, you have to get away from everything to find yourself and reboot; only to lose pieces of yourself once again when you return to your daily life.
I really wish someone had talked to me about just being me at 12 years old or 16 or 25.
